We recently stayed 3 nights at the Palace B+B and loved every minute of it! Rudy and Pia are a delightful couple who were very helpful and welcoming.Our room was very comfortable and well equipped, looking onto a small, colourful indoor garden.The fridge was well stocked and a variety of delicious breads, boiled eggs, fruit, croissants etc were delivered to our door each morning,enabling us to have a really good breakfast and make snacks for the day The location of the B+B is perfect - we wer.
alle beoordelingen » Rudy and Pia are wonderful hosts. I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider. everything was just perfect! location is great. it is on a lively but elegant street full of good restaurants and cafes. very close to public transportation and Dam Square. cleanliness is much more than you expect from a B&B. refrigerator is always full of delicious Dutch cheese, fruit, milk etc. words are not sufficienct to explain the hospitality of Rudy and Pia. it is definitely the place you wanna stay for a good Amsterdam experience... We loved our stay at Palace B&B Amsterdam. It was a great location, nearby city center and main interest places. Furthermore the room was clean and well equipped and an excellent self-serve breakfast was provided in the room. Rudy and Pia were excellent host, welcoming and helpful with all information we needed. For sure, in case of any vacation in Amsterdam we will come back again. The location is fantastic and the room was spacious. It was a very pleasant stay , very good location ( 5 min. walk from Royal Palace),nice room ,good breakfast , and the owners Rudy and Pia are the perfect hosts. We liked everything!. nothing at all but good to keep in mind the steepness of stairs. it is not the best choice for elderly!. Be prepared for steep staircase which is a feature of this type of townhouse. The room was just a little small but perfectly adequate and probably typical for this style of house and the central location. Nothing to declare. The hotel has no lift. Access to rooms it requires many steps, narrow and steep. it is a traditional Amsterdam house (which was fun for me) with a very steep stairs, so it is not recommended for people having problems with climbing stairs. Some fittings a bit shabby now!. its a b&b so no room service !. Nothing.
