  This is a very fine hotel with every amenity, except coffee. There is a small train line that goes to the door. The area is Rokko Island, wiped out in the 1995 Kobe earthquake, so everything there is new. If you want to stay in an up scale hotel in Japan and don't have much cash, this is the place.   Great location - less than 10 mins walk to the trains and managable even with luggage. The room was perfectly adequate - compact but well appointed - and very good value. Firm mattress but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and catered for most tastes. The staff were helpful and of course very polite. In room wi-fi was good.
