  The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. We certainly didn't need to refer to any guide books while we were in his hotel. he was genuinly interested in how our day went and and did all he - Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants.   The owners were very friendly & helpful. The room was spotless and very spacious with skylight and a mini fridge and a safe. This B&B has a nice terrace over looking the bay and is in a great location; 2 minutes from the main square & a 10 minute walk from the train station. The ad indicated stairs so we knew what to expect but it was not a concern for us as the - Absolutely wonderful hotel, which deserves all the best rating it has. I would say it is rather 3 star hotel than B&B. New, clean, comfortable, close to city centre and railway station featuring open terrace, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine that allows you to have proper cappuccino for breakfast. Grazie mile, Alfonso, for your warm and welcoming hospitality. It was the best hotel in our 10 days trip in Italy. We will definitely recommend belvedere for anyone who visits Sorrento

  The best place of my trip - you feel at home with clean a refurnished apartments that kept the classic charm of the town. Book it with no fear - I had a friend that came to meet us and she was very sick when she arrived. Monica (front desk) went out of her way to help us take care of her. I really appreciated that. Also location was great. Rooms were pretty sound proof which was great seeing as our balcony was on the main street but there was barely any street noise with the french doors closed.

The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.
