  The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants.   Very responsive staff. We had a problem with the bathroom on our last night. It was pretty late. Nevertheless, the staff came immediately to assist and even allowed us to us the facilities in the adjacent room seeing that we were checking out early the next morning. Breakfast delivered to the room each morning.   The Hotel was in a great location just above the town centre and easy for getting around. The staff were always attentive and on hand to give advice and help. The breakfast was good and plentiful the rooms were cleaned every day and bed linen changed regularly. Near from the town centre, good views of the mountains from the room. Very friendly staff, supermarkets, restaurants nearby. They help with tours, maps etc. Will stay here again. Access to the roof for drying laundry as it has clothes lines, pins etc. You can have breakfast in their garden. Very calm and quiet area.

This B&B has a nice terrace over looking the bay and is in a great location; 2 minutes from the main square & a 10 minute walk from the train station. I would say it is rather 3 star hotel than B&B. New, clean, comfortable, close to city centre and railway station featuring open terrace, fully equipped kitchen and coffee machine that allows you to have proper cappuccino for breakfast. Grazie mile, Alfonso, for your warm and welcoming hospitality. It was the best hotel in our 10 days trip in Italy. We will definitely recommend belvedere for anyone who visits Sorrento

Ook stond er een vers gebakken taartje in de vorm van een hart voor ons op de kamer omdat we op huwelijksreis waren. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met allerlei verse en biologische produkten. We felt like the owners had become our friends and it was sad to leave.   Highly recommended. Right in the heart of Sorrento. Only 15 minutes walk to train station and bus depot. We had a spacious room overlooking the piazza. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Sorrento. No lifts, so you better practice lifting your suitcases up a few flight of stairs. I didn't mind because... wat mensen zeggen » my husband did all the lifting:) - Wonderful staff, Super tidy, Very helpful, Always polite and professional, Great city break in a brill location central for easy transfers for rail, bus and wonderful places to eat.
