We had one of the rooms on the thrid floor with good views. I would think that some of the back rooms on the first floor facing the garden are also good... wat mensen zeggen » . The hotel was perfect on every front: location, staff, cleanliness (particularly good), facilities, value for money, the included breakfast was also excellent. The Palazzo Guardati is the best hotel I have stayed at in Italy. Totally exceeded my expectations.

  De service was geweldig, je krijgt bij binnenkomst een vers sapje uit eigen (citroenboomgaard). Ook stond er een vers gebakken taartje in de vorm van een hart voor ons op de kamer omdat we op huwelijksreis waren. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid met allerlei verse en biologische produkten. We felt like the owners had become our friends and it was sad to leave.   Maison Tofani is the best kept secret in Sorrento. The staff were exceptional, especially Giovanni who collected our hire car on the morning we were leaving as the garage did not open until after we wanted to leave. Maria the owner cooks amazing cakes and pastries for breakfast which was the best breakfast we had in Italy. Giovanni - We stayed 6 nights in Maison Tofani which is a great little hotel in the historical centre of Sorrento, decorated in the best Italian style. We had a large room with a big bed, a sofa and armchairs, a bathroom with shower - and free wifi! The room overlooked the narrow shopping street. We had a small table and two chairs on the minute balcony where we could watch the world go by. The windows were well insulated as we weren't disturbed by noise.   The hotel was superb with the staff being very freindly , the location and views were stunning ! - We really liked the location,it was an easy 7-10 minute to Piazza Tasso, but far enough away to have a great view of the bay and be peaceful at night.We also walked to the Circumvesuviana Station(15-18 min.) regularly for our trips to Pompeii and Posi... wat mensen zeggen » tano/Amalfi/Ravello.We would definitely stay there again for the great vistas(we had a very nice, large balcony) and the location.

  Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent
