They were professional and extremely attentive while also being warm and very approachable. Breakfasts (and lunch and dinner, if you wish) were delicious and served on the terrace right at seaside. Ortygia is a - This was....Paradise! An oasis of rest in the bustling life of Siracusa. Nice and friendly staff. Although only 3stars rated, it is worth a 5 star resort. The only one with a private beach, it was just great to start our trip there. For the boys they even could use a kayak which they enjoyed. Breakfast was amazing when comparing with Italy standards.

  Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... wat mensen zeggen » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!

  A trully fantastic appartment in the heart of the old town Syracuse (Ortygia). It is very spacious and has 3 bedrooms is excellent decorative order, two of them in the high loft space. Parking is relatively easy to find and was not a problem. The owner (communicated through email) and the manager were very attentive and looked after us very well. ... wat mensen zeggen » It really felt like our own place and it was great walking onto the balcony and exchanging greetings with people on the street setting up their restau - We stayed as a family of 4 adults ( parents in late 50th and young couple, our son with his wife in late 20th). The apartment is very spacious, 2 bathrooms, we didn't even use the part if it all. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are air conditions in all rooms. It's located on 2 nd floor and it's not suitable for people with walking problem: steep stairs

  The hotel appears well managed with a particular emphasis on staff's friendly and professional attitude towards guests. It's a pleasure do be dealing with the management as well and the language capabilities of the receptionists (plus their skills and local knowledge) is second to none. We will be back. - Friendly courteous staff, nice continental breakfast (lovely almond granita and good coffee), great location - very close to both Ortigia island (where all the good restaurants were) and main sights in Syracuse town including the excellent Greek theatre and archaeological park, cheap public car park only 2 mins walk from hotel in Via Bengasi. A great hotel to spend a few nights and explore Syracuse
