  Some of the most helpful and friendly staff we have encountered on our extensive travels through Europe. Gardens and hotel very charming and nicely set out, good ambiance. Good parking and very close to village centre for restaurants and shops. Our second stay, and would stay again. - A great place to relax in the countryside.   mooie lokatie, vriendelijk personeel, leuk en lekker restaurant, goede wijn, schitterende bruidsuite, prachtige accomodatie - We stayed two nights on our journey to Greece. The hotel, conveniently, is only 15 minutes from the AutoRoute and an hour and a half from Ancona. When we arrived at 2.45 on Sunday afternoon the restaurant was packed. Dinne... wat mensen zeggen » r that evening was excellent as was the wine recommendation. Unknown to us the restaurant is closed on a Monday, but a member of staff came to our rescue. We also sampled some of their delicious Sangiovese and olive oil which they sell. It is the best home produced wine and oi - We last stayed at the Locanda in March when it was very cold but the hotel was cosy and the staff so helpful and welcoming. On our return we were greeted like old friends. Dinner on the Veranda was perfect and the menu reflected the season. We were invited to share a glass of wine and a slice of birthday cake by the relatives of the chef sitting at the next table. Breakfast was served outside with delicious cherries and apricots.
