  This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. Or a quick dip in the pool which although a little small provides the chance to cool off. The main part of the town is a short walk down the hill.   Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent
