  We were looking for a quite, clean, 1-bedroom appartment, not far from centre to spend there some nights (cause were walking during days) and light breakfasts. So we have found all of that in this appartment. Plus friendly staff (family), sea view and a parking place (that is important in Italy!). - Very friendly, helpful staff.   This is a beautiful old hotel high atop the Amalfi coast. The views are stunning and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. The hotel is clean and kind of a throwback to older times.   Had a wonderful (too short!) stay in this hotel in the centre of Positano. Deluxe room beautiful with large terrace and fabulous views, worth the extra. Staff very polite and friendly, great attention to detail. Fantastic food and wine choice in the restaurant, ended up having all our meals there (a first!).   Certe Notti was an excellent place to stay in Pompei. It was a short walk to the archeological ruins and goes past the Santuario della Beatta Vergine del Rosario. Excellent location. Great position in walking distance to everything (archeological site of Pompei, train station, central square, shopping street, restaurants and a minimarket just at the other side of the road). We opted to eat in the dining room instead of our terrace because you have a panoramic view of the coast. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. We were surprised to get such a nice room for the money.
