My wife and I traveled to Rome with our two young daughters (the eldest with 3 years old and the newest with 1 year and 3 months) and we were a bit concerned with finding a hotel that could accommodate our family well.   I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were great and the bedswere sooo comfortable. We had been in Italy for a couple weeks and itwas the best place we stayed at!! - The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and the food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable and cool which was much appreciated in the summer heat. Right from the entry way to the hotel room! The hotel is down a cobble stone street and you really get the feeling that you are in rome. The location is perfect! The breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. I stayed in two different hotels in Rome, and I preferred this hotel and location.

  Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable. However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. He told us about an amazing local restaurant, found last minute tour to the Vatican, and... wat mensen zeggen » even accompanied me to a shoe repair to help translate. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
