  Hotel Bocaccio was in such a fabulous location, I would have been pleased even if it offered only mediocre accommodations. However, this was not the case. Patty, the hotel owner, was friendly and helpful even before I arrived, responding promptly to my emails, providing me with the information I requested. Hotel Bocaccio is clean, comfortable, and mee - Great hotel and great deal ! was meeting family in rome and didnt want to spend a lot on a room for just one nite. This was a great option! Room was very comfortable, hotel was easy to fine (short walk from the barberini stop on the subway) and really just very pleasant. Cant comment on the shared shower as I left early in the am and didnt use it. Bathroom (toilet room which was separate) was very clean though

  Hotel Mimosa Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address. Luckily the main doors were open to get access to the upstairs reception desk. There was a lift, much needed following a 10 day cruise worth of luggage... wat mensen zeggen » . Don't expect too much - basic small room (#11) but clean with a large tile shower. No TV, hair dryer, fridge or access to much ice (can borrow hai - We were impressed by the helpful, friendly and very warm welcome here at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and were given a very spacious room with the best views down the street. We enjoyed peaceful nights sleep and a very nice breakfast every morning with cheerful and friendly service. This felt like a home away from home.   The location was great. Right near the Monti neighborhood and close to the major sites (without being too close). There were some great restaurants (a Tre Scalini was fantastic) and shopping nearby and also a very local feeling. We very easily walked to the Piazza Monti and hung out by the fountain with drinks several nights. Our hosts were very... wat mensen zeggen » nice and helpful. We enjoyed being pleasantly greeted every time we came back to our room. Wifi was very good, no problems. The room had many conven - I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two daughters for 4 days. The location is perfect for visiting the different sites in Rome. The Colosseum and other nearby attractions is just a 10 to 15 mins. walk from the hotel. Going to Vatican, bus stop for bus #40 is just around the corner. Trevi fountain is also just a 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff Catalina was very helpful. The room was so clean and made up everyday. Wifi is free and fast. Good restaurants are also aplenty in Via del Serpe

  The best hotel we could wish for, according the best price. First of all, the staff were amazing. We booked for a double room, but when we cheked in, they gave us a suit for 5 , because it would be empty anywey.   I just spent two nights at the Hotel Tizi. I had a very enjoyable stay. It took me just 5 mins to get to Termini from the hotel. The area is too secure what was highly important for me. All of the staff from the front desk(an old man and his daughter) to the lady that cleaned my room were very friendly. The room I had was very simple but that was... wat mensen zeggen » ok. The breakfast that was provided was very simple too but nice and fresh. I will be returning next time to this hotel for sure. - Perfect choice in cost-value consideration. I expected much worse but it was absolutely OK! :) I RECOMEND IT!
