  The location was great. Right near the Monti neighborhood and close to the major sites (without being too close). There were some great restaurants (a Tre Scalini was fantastic) and shopping nearby and also a very local feeling. We very easily walked to the Piazza Monti and hung out by the fountain with drinks several nights. Our hosts were very... wat mensen zeggen » nice and helpful. We enjoyed being pleasantly greeted every time we came back to our room. Wifi was very good, no problems. The room had many conven - I stayed in this hotel with my wife and two daughters for 4 days. The location is perfect for visiting the different sites in Rome. The Colosseum and other nearby attractions is just a 10 to 15 mins. walk from the hotel. Going to Vatican, bus stop for bus #40 is just around the corner. Trevi fountain is also just a 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff Catalina was very helpful. The room was so clean and made up everyday. Wifi is free and fast. Good restaurants are also aplenty in Via del Serpe

  Hotel Mimosa Chose because of price and proximity to Pantheon n lots of other attractions. Nervous when arrived - only a small placard on the wall of a side street cabbie located only by address. Luckily the main doors were open to get access to the upstairs reception desk. There was a lift, much needed following a 10 day cruise worth of luggage... wat mensen zeggen » . Don't expect too much - basic small room (#11) but clean with a large tile shower. No TV, hair dryer, fridge or access to much ice (can borrow hai - We were impressed by the helpful, friendly and very warm welcome here at this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and were given a very spacious room with the best views down the street. We enjoyed peaceful nights sleep and a very nice breakfast every morning with cheerful and friendly service. This felt like a home away from home.   Hotel Bocaccio was in such a fabulous location, I would have been pleased even if it offered only mediocre accommodations. However, this was not the case. Patty, the hotel owner, was friendly and helpful even before I arrived, responding promptly to my emails, providing me with the information I requested. Cant comment on the shared shower as I left early in the am and didnt use it. Bathroom (toilet room which was separate) was very clean though

  The hotel was good, close to Termini station so its was perfect. Breakfast was ok, Italy style, And personal was good specially Romar!   It is a really friendly small hotel with very nice staff. The receptionist always checks who enters the hotel so it is quite secure, too. - The location is good. It's around the train station, and there are lots of restaurants and bars downstairs. The room is big and clean.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is located right next to the Termini Railway Station, so it's a great location for those who wish to see more of Italy than just Rome. It is also in close proximity to the Colosseum and Forum Romanum. Fresh towels and cleaning service on a daily basis. Staff do not speak very good English but as we didn't really have any problems to deal with, it did not bother us. They are extrem - This place is right by the Termini train station making arriving to and from the airport super easy. It is also walkable to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Close to the metro, this makes access to other parts of Rome easy as well. We were pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood as I am always somewhat concerned when I stay near a train station. However, this was not an issue as the neighborhood was fine and actually far less touristy than others in Rome. Room was clean and staff friendly,

  Enjoyed staying here, we one used it for one night to be close to the station to fly out the next day. It's a great budget option, large room, clean and secure. We stayed around the Trivoli Fountain for 5 nights at the start of our trip. We found the restaurants so expensive there. ( You pay gor locatoon). Outside the Millerose are fantastic resta... wat mensen zeggen » urants which are so much cheaper and just as good if not better. - Nice and welcoming staff, always willing to help. Nice location (not the most glamorous part of the town but so convinient to be close to termini station). Good value for money. Very simple but clean and calm (ie. what you would be looking for in a budget hotel). Breakfast is simple but included in the price and really nice to have for a good start of the day.
