We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM. The buffet breakfast, featuring both hot and cold items, breads, cornetti, cakes, champagne, and juices was not only delicious but the best that we have had in Italy.   Nice room and furniture, we had sea view, large enough balcony, room cleaned every day, very friendly and helpful staff, consistent buffet breakfast (on the roof >> sea view :) ). There is a free parking on the other side of the street, as well as several places to eat (restaurants, paninerie, gelaterie, pasticcerie, BurgerKing, etc).   At first-extremely friendly, hospital and helpful staff and both of them spoke excellent English. Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
