We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... wat mensen zeggen » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  The B&B was our base for two night while we got to know Catania. Valentina was a gracious host and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and cakes. The room was off a small courtyard in a gracious old building. We had two rooms plus bathroom, so was very spacious. You can have a very relaxing time there by reading a book or surfing the web or having breakfast. The room I got was big enough to have a chaise longue and a small round table for relaxing also inside. There was a small fridge. The breakfast is very good, italian-style.

  Prima start en eindpunt van mijn vakantie. Helemaal top dit hotel. - Het hotel is voor zijn 3sterren luxueus en proper tot in de kleinste hoekjes. Het ontbijt is ruimschoots voldoende en uitgebreid. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en spreekt zeer goed Engels en zelfs Frans. Het enige minpunt is, de douchecel is klein voor mij omdat... wat mensen zeggen » ik nogal wat omvang heb. Tijdens mijn 9 dagen verblijft heb ik mij nergens in geergerd. Het is een aanrader.

  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

Not far from the bus to the airport but the taxi is only 20 Euro and is just a 15 minute ride (bus #437 will take you to and from a stop near the Duomo but then about another 10 min. Walk). After 11 pm, totally quiet. Safe and secure - What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town. Bravo Giuseppe !!!!!
