The hotel is on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

The B&B was our base for two night while we got to know Catania. Valentina was a gracious host and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and cakes. The room was off a small courtyard in a gracious old building. We had two rooms plus bathroom, so was very spacious. Rooms were well fitted out and the bed comfortable. -

This is a great place to stay. Located in a down at heel piazza close to the fish market and adjacent to the railway line, first impressions aren't encouraging. Inside, however, the accommodation is truly excellent. Recently refurbished throughout, the style is contemporary but homely. Exceptionally comfortable and clean with efficient air conditioning, large bathrooms/showers, good storage space and excellent breakfast. One of the most wonderful stays my partner and I have EVER had!! Massimiliano is awesome, lovely, hospitable and nothing too much. I even got a little unwell during our stay and he helped with some medication. Breakfast was fresh and local produce daily, brilliant spread. Room presentation was fab....spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated.

The place is great!!! It is exactly in the city center (5 meters from the Fontana dell’ Elefante). Although it is in a city center, it is very quiet and peaceful place! The owner, Massimiliano is just WOW. He was very kind and ready to do everything for his quests to enjoy the stay in Al Duomo Inn and in Catania. We will certainly come again to this B&B!
We used our stay in Catania to visit Syracuse, Etna and Taormina! All of these places are amazing!
