  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!   Everything. The hotel is situated rather close to the Central Station, it is easy to find a street. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. - Fairly close to the major attractions.   Prima start en eindpunt van mijn vakantie. Helemaal top dit hotel. - Het hotel is voor zijn 3sterren luxueus en proper tot in de kleinste hoekjes. Het ontbijt is ruimschoots voldoende en uitgebreid. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en spreekt zeer goed Engels en zelfs Frans. Het enige minpunt is, de douchecel is klein voor mij omdat... wat mensen zeggen » ik nogal wat omvang heb. Tijdens mijn 9 dagen verblijft heb ik mij nergens in geergerd. Het is een aanrader.

  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... wat mensen zeggen » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

The location seems a bit dodgy at first glance but it is metres from the main drag leading to the atmospheric historical highlights. The small balcony outside my bedroom was one of the highlights of my stay- stayed up half the night watching the activities on the plaza outside.

  The place is very close to everything, very big room and bathroom, staff was speaking English and was kind. We stayed for 2 nights so I think I would recommend it for a shorter stay.
