  We booked our stay at Hotel La Villetta to be close to the airport for our trip home and to spend our last day in Italy close to the Mediterranean. They don't provide a shuttle service to the hotel so you'll need to take a cab. About 20 Euro. We were pleasantly surprised, however, and loved our stay there. The staff was - We choose hotel because it is close to the airport but not isolated. At first the location seems oddly placed in a neighborhood, but it is actually very convenient to the town. It was perfect for the night before we flew home. The employees were all extremely helpful with the local area. You can walk down to the seaside, there are wonderful restaurants, you can even rent a chair and sit at the beach, although the water was not clean enough for me to swim.   Staff was very helpful - It was convenient for a stop over to catch a morning flight out as it is reasonably close to the airport and the hotel offer a shuttle. Not recommended if you want to go to the city every day as it is a long way. Hotel staff friendly and accomodating.
