I will always remember walking into the lobby to the view of the firplace lit and the smell of peat logs burning. I wanted to sit and stay on those couches for hours. Breakfast was wonderful and leisurely with the most solicitous service.

A proper family run B&B that welcomed guests with a warm friendly vibe and with owners who were very accommodating to our needs.
They embraced local with a breakfast that consisted of lots of fresh food grown and baked on the working farm that meant for a delicious start to the day.

We were placed in a huge family room with a separate room for our two teenage girls-perfect! There was lots of water pressure in the shower as well as little extras (i.e. make up removal pads) in the bathroom. The view was wonderful and the rooms very well appointed. Having wi-fi was appreciated as was the breakfast and suggestions of where to eat for dinner.

and didn't want to drive back into Kinsale. Mary recommended the

In spite of the rain we enjoyed our stay. There was lots to see in the area and many restaurants/pubs to eat out.
The main reason for our visit was to see the area where my Grandfather had been taken as a survivor of the Lusitania sinking during WW1.
Unfortunately the museum in Kinsale was closed so we did not get to see the information, about my Grandfather, that we had provided for the museum.
The owners of the B&B were wonderful people and helped us any way that they could.

Everything during our stay was perfect. The staff were excellent, the htel was immaculate. The only meal we took was breakfast but the presentation and standard was first class. - Good central location, great view of harbour from our bedroom. Peaceful ambience. Friendly and efficient staff.

The girl running the place was lovely she checked us in and out and served breakfast the next morning! Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Ireland, variations on the full Irish get tiresome really quick but there was a huge selection including eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and omelettes made to order. The staff was very welcoming and very patient with us as we arrived late in the evening. The accommodations were very cozy ( and the bedding was deluxe!).
