  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel. The food, which we had read so much about was superb - I have never eaten such delicious duck, ever. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered cooked eggs and bacon, as well as a buffet.   The Villa Plattensee is a amazing hotel. The owner and his team are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great and well laid out. It is a place to relax and unwind. The breakfast buffet was good and I enjoyed reading a book on the pool afterwards. The hotel is close to the lake and with a rented bike I had great excursions. We will be back - Loved this hotel, we stayed the night after our wedding, we chose this hotel as it is the finest in the area, the rooms were very comfortable and extremely large, we had breakfast in a beautiful elevated conservatory which overlooked the clean blue swimming pool, a lovely golden retriever resident was very friendly!

  Good value for money. Breakfast buffet, parking in front of hotel, clean and nice rooms. Multi language (english, german, french). They earn a 4-star rating ! - Everything was perfect. Especially, correspondence of Staff to accident was great . Thank you very much. I hope to come again to private next time.

  Staff are excellent, rooms extremely clean and spacious, breakfast was huge, fresh and a enormous choice served by attentive staff, wifi working perfectly. On arrival we were given the choice of rooms considering the heat and stairs. This was very much appreciated! A big thank you. A great location and the walk down hill to the centre of town was good exercise- especially retur - On our first day (Sunday) we had Wi-Fi issues in our room, which was quite a big deal (we needed it for the conference). The owner came by the same evening trying to resolve our issue, as it was Sunday evening with a blizzard outside her IT technician was unable to fix the issue until the next day. In the meanwhile she offered us to keep the existing room and get an additional free room, to use as a study, where the Wi-Fi coverage was better. In general they’ve been very helpful and made our st

  This is a simple guest house but a very good one with excellent facilities for the money. The villa is a 10-minute walk down to the lakeside and the walk itself is very pleasant. The owners were delightful, friendly but also knew to leave us to do our own thing. They were also very accommodating in terms of any requests we had.   The hotel was absolutely perfect for the money we spent. We loved the location near the lake and the swimming pool with the spa. Breakfast and dinner were included, and the food was just fantastic.
