  Really nice place! It's like a castle. Very friendly personal, cosy rooms and, I guess, the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept on. Breakfast was perfect - delicious and really many dishes to choose. Wellness-centre is awesome - so stylish and has everything you need (we love SPA vacations so saw hundreds wellness-zones - hotel's wellness centre ... wat mensen zeggen » is totally great) If we go to Hungary next year again and will have enough time we would stay at this hotel again :) By the way, about only 5-10 minu - The big spa, the welcoming staff, the view over the Danube and the vicinity to Visegrad and Esztergom. Friendly staff and good breakfast selection.

  The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was of the highest standard and the large balcony with a lake view was a big bonus! I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.   The service of Gombás Kúria Mension was very good. There were not many guests in the hotel when I was there, but the service (breakfast, room) was still perfect.   We have been with 2 dogs - labradors, the staff really loved the dogs and they have left in the bathroom an extra towel for them (I guess) that really impressed me, although we had ours and didnt need it.   It rarely happens when I have no complaints about the hotel. This time everything was on the expected level, everything works,the hotel is clean, elegant, pleasant, every detail is considered. And the location is very good, it is on the main street, near the park but at the same time the surroundings are not noisy and crowded.   The location was perfect for walking to the city and old town. The spa area was lovely. Except for one waiter in the restaurant, the staff was fantastic. The rooms were a bit small, but acceptable. The shower was tiny. Some rooms had balconies. Breakfast and dinner were both very good.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. There did not appear to be other restaurants close by, but we had a very nice dinne - Great location.We loved Tata. We were on the first floor and both of our rooms were large.   It’s a brand-new hotel and located near the main sights e.g. to the castle. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view to the castle. Plus it gives free WI-FI internet and private parking place direct at the hotel. The restaurant offers a wide selection of meals and has home-made beers, which were delicious! Bike riding great to get around faster.

  A pleasant surprise in an off-the-beaten-track area with numerous things to like. Friendly and helpful staff. Bike rental available and a good bike path runs along the Danube. The Korean gourmet dinner was superb. Wellness area is clean and more than adequate. Nice surroundings - Location, restaurant, surrounding.

  Once we managed to walk there (no taxis available at bus station) it was in a good location for walking around town. Staff was helpful. Ac worked (but we were charged for it); WiFi sometimes worked (but at least it was indeed free).

  We know this hotel for years and we love to stay in it. It has very good facilities and a good restaurant with fantastic Hungarian good. Highly recommended! - Nice, comfortable, typical architecture, staff very polite, good breakfast, a-la-carte restaurant very good and not expensive, hotel not expensive at all.
