  Excellent location overlooking fishing harbour and 2 mins from beach. Lots of excellent tavernas within minutes walk. Owner very friendly. Rooms had everything we needed and lovely views of sunset. Nea Chora area around harbour and beach is very peaceful. Rooms very thoughtfully equipped. Owner provided a kettle for us. Cleaned every day... wat mensen zeggen » to high standard. Rooms spacious and tastefully done out. Would recommend very highly for this this price bracket. - recently stayed for a week at the Arocaria Apartments. we booked a room with a view, and it was beautiful. the balcony has a great view looking over the marina. it is located literally 2-3 mins walk from the sandy beach and 15-20mins walk (along the coast) to chania. the rooms are basic, but all that we needed. staff are very friendly, rooms cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  It's all about the view folks. Although we arrived late the previous evening, the smile on my wife's face when she through open the shutters on our first full day in Crete was priceless. OK, the room was compact, and the stairs are steep but Natasha & Dimitri made us feel very welcome on our modest budget. This is an original Venetian building... wat mensen zeggen » so the wi-fi was a bonus. The meandering streets & photogenic alleys are right outside your back door. - Location is fantastic - right on the old Venetian harbour. The rooms are a bit dated but well equipped and quite comfortable. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had room 2 with 2 rooms and a balcony which was a great place to relax at any time of day or night.

  The apartments were lovely, a welcome change from hotels. There was plenty of space, bathroom lovely and cooking hob worked fine. Plenty of parking. Walk into Chania takes about half an hour, and beach only five minutes away. Our ferry to Crete was delayed by more than two hours so we were a bit worried, as the booking info said check-in was only ... wat mensen zeggen » open until 10.30pm. When we called up to explain, they assured us there'd.be someone at the bar until late, and when we were further delayed they stay - We added the half-board option and were spoilt by the chef and restaurant crew. Excellent food with good variations of international cuisine and Greek specialties. The hotel offers a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The location offers quick and easy acess to the major roads if you want to explore the Island by car. Easy to acess the City center of Chania by bus, taxi or car or just to take a walk along the beach.

  Husband and wife run the hotel, they were very friendly and helpful, although we only stayed 2 nights the rooms were cleaned everyday, continental breakfast, large balcony and directly opposite a nice beach, on the outskirts of the old/main town but only a 10 minute walk, the hotel had a lift which was a plus if you have suitcases etc - - The hot... wat mensen zeggen » el is not exactly at the beach, ther is another building in front but on the right you can see the bouilevard and the beach and the whole bay. - nice staff - good breakfast. - you have a key to enter when the hotel is closed late at night - not far from the old city - close to several beaches - close to good greek restaurants

But, if you want, you can prepare your own meals in the small kitchen. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
