  Marianna and George were extremely friendly and helpful during our three day stay. The family-run hotel is a traditionally restored from scratch old harbour house with modern high tech amenities. Despite the lack of sea view, staying in the hotel is very pleasant. Rooms are nice and traditionally decorated. The hotel is located in a quiet st - Absolutely exquisite. Room was beautifully designed, bed wonderfully comfortable, facilities excellent, a complete pleasure to be in. Breakfast was a rare treat with great food in lovely surroundings. Position of the hotel was perfect. Right in the heart of the old town so a few metres from the harbour, the shops and restaurants but an oasis of peace and comfort as soon as you stepped back inside the hotel. She brought my clothes to a laundromat; mailed a rare fruit specimen (legally) to the United States; and when I lost my cellphone, picked it up (after I left Crete) and mailed it home. The facilities at Madonna Studios are excellent, but the real difference is Thomais. - I liked the room which was big and bright, I could easily prepare my own dish as the cooker, coffee maker, kettle were provided or go to the tavern which was just across the street. the landlady was very helpful, kind and she even baked for us traditional cakes with cheese!! we had fresh flowers every day too.I stayed for 3 days and truly enjoyed it.
