  Reception was very friendly and extremely helpful. All queries - also tourist information - were attended to very well. Facilities are very clean. Space is limited in the room, but did not bother. Location is the best you can ask for. Busses are on the doorstep and can take you in any direction. The Gare l'Est station is also next door.   It was our second stay in the hotel. The hotel is situated right in the centre of Reims in the walking area. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The restaurant of the hotel is very good, breakfasts are very tasty and quite substantial. Reims Cathedral is just a 7-minute walk. After the fail to repair it the staff upgrad - We stayed here for one night before flying home from cdg. This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Gare de l'Est, which is very convenient if you are arriving or departing there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and moved our room to a higher floor when we asked. It was unusually hot in Paris that day, so we left the window open with the fan on at night as there is no a/c in the hotel. Despite the open window, it was still quiet as our room was in the back.   Fabulous place! The staff couldn't be better; and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He is in the process of doing the place up; and we had the privilege of staying in one of the newly decorated rooms. It was fresh and so clean; and seemed much bigger than the pictures on the web. Although we never used it, there is access to a computer, - On my arrival the hotel owner/manager was very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent; between 2 major railway stations Gare Du Nord & Gare De L'Est, easy walk to magnificent Sacre Cœur, & funky Montmatre & close to Blvd Poissonnere (live theatre & shows). The Metro is very close too but I didn't use it as evrything I needed or wanted to do was nearby.

  After reading some reviews, I was a bit sceptical about this hotel. But after staying there for 3 nights, I should say I did enjoy my stay here. Simple, no frills hotel. The guy at the reception was friendly and speaks English well. Really helpful guy, didn't manage to catch his name though.   Het was een stuk beter dan dat ik in eerdere recensies had gelezen. Twee bedden i.p.v. één, eigen w c. en douche op de kamer. Het geheel was wel sober maar schoon. - Het hotelletje ligt vlakbij alles, makkelijk bereikbaar en lekker eten om de hoek. En goedkoop kregen nog extra korting wegens de verbouwing en het personeel was vriendelijk.
