  Amazing seaside location, close enough to quickly get in to Ajaccio but quieter and less touristy. Excellent breakfast! The best one we had at all of the hotels we stayed at in Corsica.   Everything was perfect , large modern and very beautiful apartment with all facilities , even kitchen with everything you need , large nice balcony with amazing view on Ajaccio. Room, bathroom, excellent with seaviews, very good evening meal in hotel restaurant, helpful bar service. Cannot comment on breakfast as our early departure meant we chose not to take it.   Good location for wandering around Ajaccio. Reasonably modern facilities and the buffet breakfasts were plentiful, varied but basic. The staff were really helpful and with enough English to be able to have good conversation. We had a sat nav repair problem and they were happy to phone around to find where we might get assistance and then show us h... wat mensen zeggen » ow to get there. The hotel's garage was much cheaper than city parking stations and was nice and close - but only available on our second day - pity t - The hotel is very close to the beach, shops and downtown, although it's not in the main street, so it's peaceful and quiet. Very nice and helpfull personell. Clean and tidy, comfortable rooms.

  Location was good within easy walk of all the main sights. Loads of restaurants of various types and price ranges within a few minutes walk. Very clean and modern room and bathroom, comfortable big bed! Kettle in room was a bonus. ask for a sea view though - it makes all the difference. Fun to watch the donkey's in the citadelle moat just opposite... wat mensen zeggen » ! Beach just across the road to right of citadelle and down steps. Walk around the bay away from the port and there is an amazing childrens playground - The location was perfect, the old town, the beach and several restaurants within walking distance. Our room was upgraded and we had a terrific view of the Meditearrean. The maids did a fabulous job best I have seen and we have travelled a lot. Breakfast was good and taxi to the airport was right on time.

  We toured Corsica by car in early April, this hotel was our 2nd stop having first stayed in ‘La Pietra’ hotel on the wild peninsula of L’ile Rousse. Les Mouettes has charm and character; it was very clean and tastefully decorated. Our room no. 18 had the most comfortable double bed of our trip, flat screen T.v, a fabulous en-suite bathroom and a s... wat mensen zeggen » mall private balcony with a view of the pool and sea. The fridge was really handy to stock up on the local Corsican rosé for aperitif and picnic suppl - Very attentive staff, discrete and professional. We arrived early, and staff when out of their way to make us feel at home: we were offered a room to shower and change, and showed to the small private beach where we relaxed until our room was ready. Our room was spacious, comfortable, with a great view of the gulf. All through our short stay, the staff proved friendly and helpful. A great first night in Corsica !
