  We arrived around 2.30pm but had to wait 40 minutes to get checked-in. There weren't enough staff initially, then the computer system crashed. We accept that problems happen, but the reception staff handling these issues at the time were poor, showing no regard for the frustration of customers waiting to check-in. The other commendable practice in this hotel is to respect guests' privacy, i.e. if one hangs a "Do not disturb" sign outside the door, the understanding is that the chambermaid will NOT knock on your door to insist a clean up (as is the case of many hotels).   This resort upon arrival treated my wife & I with the utmost courtesy. I requested a room by the marina, but they are closed for renovations. So the clerk upgraded us to a one bedroom suite that was absolutely amazing. This was @ no extra cost to us & I was amazed @ what was available within that suite. The salt water pool & hot tub wa... wat mensen zeggen » s so enjoyable that we were in there for over 90 minutes. I would totally recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for value for there money. - I have been coming to Cranberry Resort since quite some time and really like the place. Like the fact that there is a salt water pool. Love the junior suites with the view of the lake. Staff is very friendly. The resort is clean and doesn't smell musty. Comfortable beds. I also like the rooms where you can open the window.

  The beautiful countryside location was just outside Picton. The facility looks new and the room we had was very spacious. We were able to walk to the British style Pub and restaurant where the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent. We did not try the spa or the Cooking classes, but we will be organizing to go back. And w... wat mensen zeggen » onderful experience! - The rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was the largest we have ever seen. A balconny was an added plus. The breakfast was a delight, (jncluded). The staff were gracious.
