  Geweldig ontvangst, we waren 3 uur te vroeg en het was geen probleem om de kamer eerder te betrekken. Ontbijtbuffet is perfect. We hadden familiekamer en deze was zeer groot en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwemmen en grote speeltuin in de buurt.   We had three rooms- two with balconies and one without. All were a little bit different, but very cute. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day. They were able to hold us luggage for us the following day. So if you want a 2 euro discount for each person in your group, make sure to ask the front desk at Gasthof Bergfried for additional vouchers. - Loved the location, very close to center of Halstatt. If you are using gps don't trust it. The street is the first one on the right as you come out of the tunnel. Street looks like a small one way but the hotel is close with good parking. If I hadn't been watching the gps so closely I would have seen their big sign. Very nice big room but the location was awesome and town beautiful.

  First of all the hosts were very kind and good. They're like your personal tour-operator, they even warn you about the speed limits and parking places while you're traveling around. The apartment is absolutely homey and we are impressed by the cleanliness.
