I don't think you need to look beyond Gasthof Rosslwirt for budget accommodation, cleanliness, comfort, great location, nice breakfast, free wifi (though it is sometimes weak but doesn't really bother you on a holiday as you are there for a trip and not for internet surfing). It is the best choice if you are like being in the country side and also very close by Salzburg, 20-30 minute drive. But I had rathe - Nice farm atmosphere, clean rooms, easy to access from highway. Recommended for travelers who want to visit Salzburg and Salzkammergut area.

  Quite a spacious and, at the same time, cosy apartment with a big bedroom and living room with kitchen, sofa and TV. Part of a nice guest house with courtyard and a little garden. Nicely equipped. Very clean. Nice location, although outside the main historic centre, it's just an easy and wonderful walk away - and it's surrounded by the mountains ... wat mensen zeggen » and next to a little river. In addition, it's very close to the funicular, which is an advantage in case you plan to visit the Salt Mines or just go u - We have been in other guesthouses in hallstatt. This is the best!!! Very clean. Comfortable. Big rooms. Good bed. Parking place. The gentleman who checked us in very friendly. Everything perfect.

  Absolutely recommend this place. As a solo female traveler, I've never felt so safe and comfortable. They even picked me up from the train station and dropped me off at Hallstatt post-stay! The inn is a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of town: incredibly peaceful and quiet while an easy walk to grocery stores, restaurants and attractio... wat mensen zeggen » ns. My room was spotless, with a clean, cozy, modern aesthetic. It's obvious that this establishment takes great pride in their work; the attention to - This is definitely the best place I have ever stayed. Such a lovely, brand new house with pleasant colours and designs. Spacious bedroom, lovely breakfast, and a warm reading area. Paul &Liz (The owner) is so friendly and really taking care of you. They provide the lift from/to the statin, even to the site. After been to Hallstatt, I feel it is such a right decision to choose the quiet Obertraun rather than Hallstatt with all tourists.   This is really a good choice for me. Thought it is not in Hallstatt, it still has good location. you can go Hallstatt by train (4-5mins), by walk(20-30mins), by ship,or by bicycle. Compared with Hallstatt, I prefer here to live in coz it is more quite and more comfort. This hotel is really good. It's very clean and very comfortable. And one more thing, it's ver - The staff is very friendly,caring and helpful. The breakfast is rich and the location is good, just five minutes from the obertraun dachteinholen station and accessible to hallstatt by bus in several minutes. - We spend 3 nights in Haus Alpenrose. It has a great location. Market, ferry, railway station, bike rent are reachable on foot. Ms. Angelika was very hospitable and helpful. I strongly recommend Haus Aplenrose.

  Very kind and helpful owners. Everything was excellent. I recommend this hotel. We will surely return. Thank you - Nice hostess, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Beautiful surroundings and a pub/ restaurant is near by.
