  This property exceeded our expectation. The staff were only house sitting for the owners but you would never have known. They were so pleasant and helpful that they should think about doing this kind of thing on a regular basis. The rooms exceeded our expectation as did the setting. We would highly recommend this to anyone passing through or plann... wat mensen zeggen » ing to stay in New Norfolk. - A very nice place to stay, we could have stay here for a week, cosy atmosphere in modern decoration, good kitchen equipment, warm bedrooms, spa in the bathroom. free range eggs, milk ,juice and bread in the fridge, cereals and cooking supply in the cupboard. We will come again.

  We felt like it was our home, warm and cosy and the gorgeous dining room and lovely breakfast. Our hosts Liz and Nigel where friendly and made us welcome. We loved the outlook from our bedroom and the bedroom was light and airy, Many thanks Liz and Nigel, we will be back, Diane - Owners are really kind and friendly.   Our stay here was an "old world" experience, wonderful. Not just somewhere to stay, it was like going to a play or the opera. Such a privilege to stay in a 1800 heritage building. Lydia and James made us very welcome and provided an excellent dinner by the fire and also a wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the suite overlooking the river. If you want modern stay somewhere else, if you want a total experience pay them a visit. - We stayed three nights & had dinner every night, The standard of service and cooking was great & also gracious. The atmosphere in the dining room amongst the memorabilia was in accord with the colonial period & very comfortable
