  I only needed a room for one night and it was as I expected for the price. It was convenient and comfortable without any big fuss. For the small number of hours I used the room it was exactly what I wanted. I could catch the tram outside the door and come back the same way which was great. Did lack a dining table. I was in single bed room. Cheapest I could get. Awesome location - a little bit of noise as you'd expect. The little bit of interaction I had with the staff was positive - they were very polite.

Good communication regarding after hours arrival (check in). Firm but comfortable bed. Free WiFi - Rooms were spacious and well fitted out. Staff at the front desk could not have been more helpful.   Great location although currently there is construction going on across the road. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The first room we stayed in was quite small and noisy as it was looking out to the construction site but we asked to change rooms and were moved to a bigger room at the back which was ... wat mensen zeggen » lovely. - It's very close to the city centre and the important tourist attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the flat screen tv was great. It was really worth the money and I think it will make a great place to stay if you will mostly be outside visiting Melbourne and just need to have a good shower and sleep!

  Really impressed with Budget 1 Hotel, really great facilities especially for the price - facilities included an outdoor pool, good restaurants, and gym. Staff were really helpful. Clean rooms, easy to get into the city, and supermarkets and grocers - The staff at reception are welcoming, very helpful and friendly. Hotel will hold the luggage for few hours until the flight time after check out. This was very helpful. There were sufficient facilities for internet access, restaurants etc., Simply a wonderful place to stay for the budget traveller. I would definitely take my family next time.
