  The staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even walking into the reception and smelling the beautiful scent of the burning candles was such a lovely experience. I ended up staying for 2 nights as I had scored a free night through the overstay program! Our hotel room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was beyond comfortable, nothing like your usual hard hotel bed with stiff sheets. I honestly can not remember the last time I had such a good sleep in a hotel. Definitely what I needed!   Quay West Suites provided all that we needed for a weekend trip to Melbourne. It is within convenient walking distance from the NGV, Federation Square, The Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, etc, with lots of restaurants at Southbank. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rates and the choices were plentiful and a great way to start our day.Overall, I was happy with my stay.

They location would be great if you had plans at one of the sporting venues and although you were 2 blocks from the North/South tram routes, there were East/West trams running one street either side of the hotel. Best location - just around the corner from flinders lane where lots of good restaurants / cafes located. One of the best experiences I've had at a hotel - particularly for the price we paid!
