  The staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even walking into the reception and smelling the beautiful scent of the burning candles was such a lovely experience. I ended up staying for 2 nights as I had scored a free night through the overstay program! Best Idea!!! - This was my third stay at The Olse... wat mensen zeggen » n and again I wasn't disappointed.Used the gym and the pool and again found these facilities a brilliant addition to my stay.Quality of both excellent.Room was at it's best for comfort and class.Love having the kitchenette.

  The location and ease of parking the car, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are always perfect for a short stay eg, bed comfort, mini bar quietness and room service and the restaurant is always great day or evening and the downstairs bar is great for a glass of wine at the end of the day. - The hotel location - near Fitzroy gar... wat mensen zeggen » dens and a nice walk into the city and close to East Melbourne. Right on a tram stop which was convenient. A few decent places close by for coffee or meals (esp. nice is Two Fat Indians and George St Cafe)

  We loved it, kids had a great time. We had 2 inter-connecting rooms that were great. Public spaces were excellent lots of room for the kids to run around when they felt the need. The Merchant restaurant located in the building is fabulous a real gem. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast included and it was the best hotel breakfas... wat mensen zeggen » t we've had in Australia, lots of choices, fresh, always plenty on hand and great quality. Family vote - voted it our favorite Melbourne stay. - I found the room to be at an excellent standard, and the staff, including the front desk, room service and ground floor staff, to be friendly and approachable. The breakfast and room service food was excellent and of a high quality. I also found the amenties within the room fantastic, especially the wonderful king size bed. This was my second stay and I will continue to stay there for any future visits.
