The appartment was big with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and dining room and a bathrrom with spa. The balcany was above the Hutt-"River" between trees. All over the day (and especially in the night) you could here the concert of frogs and others. To stay in the Chaff Mill Village was a real experience. I can really recommed it !. Amazing view from the bedroom & bathroom of the river running behind Chaff Mill Village. Beautiful fire place & spa. Great, organised & friendly staff.

It was convenient in location. We were extremely travel weary and is was comfy. Facilities,position. Unit clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be back. Spa; great view of creek; comfortable bed; convenient location; large living area; convenient simple breakfast. Great location and very well appointed rooms, close to shops and dining. Very comfortable and quiet. Location different to normal motels. A bit of luxury. Basic breakfast , real milk,etc supplied. I really liked the layout and the balcony overlooking the little creek was so lovely. Room was great Clean Close to shops and restaurants. Driving distance to wineries. comfy bed. excellent spa. close to town. good breakfast provisions. Fire and spa, but probably will stay in appts other than 1,. staff, spa, wood fire, close to restaurants. Roomy apartment with lovely views. Everything. Close to main centre of Clare and restaurants/shops. The balcony was not cleaned (for quiet some time...). Didn't like that we had to leave! Would definitely go back!. As we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary, we chose Chaff apartment because it had a spa bath. Very disappointed to find it didn't work, told them next morning and they were not very interested. Spoilt our night, could have stayed in Adelaide. No TV reception, no foxtel could be found not even by your staff member. We really wanted to chill out after a few busy days and we just went to bed very early as the TV just did not work. Nothing. No WiFi available (free or otherwise) even though advertised in the room that there was. not much. After we booked we found out you had to pay 15 dollars for the fireplace., which was one of the main features for our booking. When we arrived a note on the fireplace said 20 dollars. We never saw a staff member. Breakfast was very basic and the outside verandah was dirty and ashtray was full of smoke buds. couldn't work the dvd player. couch very uncomfortable, had extreme trouble getting out of it, as it sagged quite badly. Couldn't get tv to work. no tv in bedroom. All was great - Hairdryer did not work but then I have not got a lot of hair anyway. Found other guests hair in spa and in other places of the apartment; cheaply furnished; furnishings old and in need of renovation.
