The Location and the comfortable bed

The very unclean shower, mold growing :-(. Pillows should be thrown out, dreadful, old and lumpy

Location: near Southbank Station, 10 min walk. Smooth check out early morning.

It was a ground floor room with full glass on one side and cars parked next to it. It felt as if the car was going to enter my room - it was so close. Never felt fresh in the bathroom - it was stinking. There was no ceiling/downlight - only free standing light!!! AC needs a through cleaning.

Room well maintained and clean. Unobtrusive contemporaneous decor. Tea/coffee making facilities, cups and glasses available. Location close to trains, buses. 15 min walk to Brisbane city centre.

Left 5:30 am and could not pay my bill. Reception was attended by night watch only.

the location was great. I could walk to everywhere I needed to go. the rooms very clean and comfortable. the breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and had a vast selection. the staff were professional, considerate and polite. will be coming back!

Excellent proximity to Arts Centre, River walks, Walking distance to Queen St Mall. Close to Railway. Safe at night. Reasonably priced.

I thought some of the attitudes of the staff working in the restaurant were very off-hand - not a friendly smile or time for a word as the meal was served (I was alone!). Joyless business prevailed.However prices were good!!

Price was amazing ...worked out about $170 a night for bedroom and balcony, full buffet breakfast for 2, and undercover parking. 5-10 minute walk to city, nice clean pool. Whereas most staff were polite but not friendly, I would recommend this hotel based on the manager alone - Brian, who went above and beyond to help make my stay pleasant and comfortable.

8am on Sunday morning is not really a good time to be doing housekeeping!

It was within walking distrance to where we were going. when booking out they allowed us to leave our car in their carpark while attending a medical appointment, which saved us money .

Loved that I was able to leave my car in the hotel car park for the two days of my conference even though I was only booked in for one night. I will consider a two night stay next time. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a better room for no extra cost, which was very welcome. Overall, it was very good value for money.

It's a very minor thing, but I wanted to book the transit bus to the airport, as described in the information pack in my room, only to find when I checked out that it had to be organised 24 hours before departure. One line explaining this in the info pack would have saved my frustration with the poor receptionist who wasn't able to help me as I'd left it too late.

Very pleased with the room and facilities, very comfortable, quiet and walking distance to everything we needed. Monique at Reception very helpful when we needed to find an after hours chemist.

Unable to extend our stay beyond the 1 night due to a 'full house'.
