If you are looking for a good "bang for your buck" this hotel is for you. Very good location, you could feel the ocean breeze and it took 5 minutes to walk to the water from the hotel. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was clean and the price was
right. There were more young couples then families. So if you were
looking for a more family style hotel this may not be the best. The
location was off the boardwalk but still bean accessible. We could walk
to Seacrets and the places that the young couple like to hit up. :)
It's motel style set up was perfect for those who come in late
night, as we didn't feel like we were disturbing anyone. We read

The staff was very cordial and helpful. Our air conditioning unit
failed during our stay and upon calling the desk, a maintenance person
came complete with a new unit to replace the broken one. It took only
about 10 minutes total. We will definitely return to the Rodeway next
summer, it was relaxing and our oceanfront room was an excellent value

I was extremely worried about the reviews that said about bed bugs
especially since we took an 8 month old but the room was great. I
previously had checked on how to spot bed bugs and I was unable to
notice any nor did any of us receive any bites during our stay. I also
liked the staff. They were willing to help with whatever we needed. -

The King Charles Hotel is close to the beach. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff paid a lot of attention to detail. All of the staff was very friendly. There was coffee available each morning. It is a very homey environment, and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is priced accordingly for what it offers. There is also parking available, which is a huge plus for Ocean City. I would definitely recommend The King Charles Hotel.

I loved having an outside entrance to our room. It was great not having to walk into and out of a hotel everytime we came and went. The staff was very personable, even the cleaning crew was great! I loved that there was always fresh coffee available for free! The price was definiately affordable! I will defintely stay here again with my husband. -

The rooms were updated, even though it was clear to see that this isn't a new hotel, it had the old charm outside but the rooms were updated with flat screen tv's and the furnishings were modern, the bath was modernized, very nice.
I was also happy to see emergency exits were well marked.

We took the trip with our two grandsons, ages 5 and 7. The resort is
very accommodating to children. They had plenty to do and were never
bored while at the facility. It was exactly what we wanted for our

This hotel has an excellent location close to the beach and boardwalk.
It is on the north side of the boardwalk, so it is quiet and away from
the main part of it, which is nice (especially at night). Staff was very
friendly. Hotel has some wear and tear (it is old, like most hotels in
oc) but overall clean. We didn't spend a lot if time in our room
anyway. The size of the room (we had two double beds only) was average.
I got an excellent discounted price, making the hotel an excellent value
wit

Traveling with three young boys, it was a nice change of pace from our traditional hotel suites. Having 3 different floors allowed us to have all the comforts of home while on vacation. I didn't have to worry about my boys going crazy in a confined space. The washer and dryer were an added bonus :) -
I like everything this was my 6 times there.

It was close to the beach area, the café shop with the hotel served gluten free meals and healthy foods, you accommodated us by giving us our room side by side which was great for my family, the location was great being near CVS,a catholic church, and Dunken doughnuts. My family wants to make this a yearly vacation since this is the first time we went together as a family and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Owners were really nice & friendly. The daily breakfast was pretty
good. Location is excellent and you get free parking! And the price was
very reasonable (meaning $200/night which is considered a
"great deal" for O.C.). They also include lots of other
amenities which I didn't realize when booking: free beach towels,
free beach chairs, hot tub

Owners Bryan and Josephine were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made us feel right at home, cooked delicious breakfasts and had plenty of enjoyable recommendations for places to eat and things to do in the area. We can't wait to go back and stay again!
