For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.
Easy to get to gaslight quarter on the trolley system.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. Our return for a second vacation in SD this year was because we have found this central, traditional-style, good-value hotel in the Old Town. This is the perfect location if you want to get out of the car and just walk Old Town. The swimming pool is a good place to hang out and read in the late afternoon/early evening. -

Very comfortable accommodation, very helpful staff and super relaxing. Kids particularly liked the waffle makers, the cookies and the pool. This hotel is very comfortable, well-appointed, clean and has excellent beds! The Hampton line of hotels are consistently excellent and the staff was wonderful as well...even calling to ensure everything was fine and recommended an excellent local pizza and pasta restaurant with free delivery for dinner when they found out we were just going to stay in for the night.

They had amazing rates, and they included wifi & breakfast!! The customer service was GREAT!!! No complains. Every1 was so nice. Definetely made my first time in San Diego a great one!!

The staff was amazing and very helpful with transportation and anything else you asked them. They go above and beyond and always have a smile on their face. Rooms were very nice, great breakfast buffets, good dinners and drinks. Albert (2) were very nice and I wish I would have gotten the front desk persons names as they were all wonderful! -

clean and acceptable. New windows eliminated noise. Bed was very

The following day, the day shift person came and replaced the temp gauge, and it worked just fine. I would stay there again.

The Staff were wonderful -from the lobby greetings to the friendly and helpful Cleaning Staff! We were wished a Happy 39th Anniversary upon arrival with a smile and a warm chocolate cookie too (my hubby's favorite).
