My husband and I would like to compliment the hotel on the standard of service received from the staff. In particular we would to thank Patrick Walsh, from the restaurant, for his efficient and friendly manner. Even though he was extremely busy, it never affected the service he provided. We hope the hotel passes on our thanks to Patrick and finds a way of rewarding his efforts.

The warm welcome by the efficent staff the food was good the facilitiesprovided by the hotel - Really enjoyed my stay at the village hotel - the staff were friendly and willing to help. The leisure facilities were great, lovely steam room and jacuzzi. I would definitely stay there again.

Ican remember when you were standing 6 deep to get served for lunch soplease get it right again also I dont know weather its the credit crunchbut little things that show good touches are missing like night drinksbiscuites you might not use them but they were there if needed and itslittle touches that count - friendliness of staff. lovely room. good

Could not fault it for lovely staff, fantastic food, value for money, room was great although a little too much furniture for the size of room, lovely view of the gold course from the furnished terrace (bit cold to sit out in December ha!!) comfy bed and really slept well and unlike most hotels the room was not too hot so you could not sleep!! Room was excellent, with a massive bathroom! Bed was very comfortable. the room I stayed in was in one of the lodges- a very short walk away from the main hotel- they are single-floor, chalet style and are very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast with a very wide variety of choice.

Very comfortable and quiet, but everything seems tied down as if it is a
venue for stag and hen parties, so there is a shortage of essentials
like shower caps/etc and poor offerings of Teas and coffees in the
bedroom. No minibar. Lack of luxury in the bar area and at breakfast and
all drinks served were lukewarm. Suitable for business and a one night
stay but would have been disappointed if on holiday. Not as clean as it
could be, in this bracket the bathrooms and floors should be immaculate.

The rooms were large and of a high standard. The view of the canal and Mailbox complex was superb. The staff were outstanding - posting me on my cashmere scarf I had left in reception when I checked out! First class service, exceptionally clean, and oozing with comfort. Rooms were lovely, and an extra bonus to find a fridge hidden in a cupboard! Breakfast and service was excellent. A very good stay andwell worth the money, I would defiantly book this hotel again. Thestaff were very friendly and have excellent service. Over all I verymuch enjoyed my stay.

Everything you need for a short stop is within the complex - spa treatments and nicely decorated facilities, an excellent Indian restaurant and courteous staff. Came to Birmingham for the Footman James Classic Motor Show and decided to stay on an extra day to sightsee. This hotel was the perfect place for us. Would definitely stay here again and r - A well positioned hotel in the delightful Brindley place close to the canal street development with its variety of shops, fine restaurants and cultural centres. The hotel is well designed with well appointed and good sized rooms. Despite its position it is very quiet. The hotel staff are extremely helpful.
