  Our two rooms were adjacent in a modern purpose built group in a quiet location away from the busy A140 - which we could not hear at night. All the usual facilities were provided in the rooms and were to a good standard. Individual heating controls in the bedroom and bathroom effectively allowed comfort and warmth on a cold spring day. This is clearly a popular venue as - The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pub is worth the visit good food and typical British ambiance (at least for a fench couple !) .   My family liked everything about this accommodation. Especially the warm welcome and the small added touches that the owner thought of which made our stay that much more enjoyable and relaxing and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone. - Really liked the room, was very quaint and comfy.

  Being a lone female traveller I am always careful about where I stay. I picked The White Horse because of the good reviews it had and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely place, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and what a lovely surprise to see Molton Brown products in the bathroom - something you would normally get in a 5 star hotel. Warm co - Our room was lovely. We booked a 'deluxe double room with a view' on offer for £71. It had a very comfy, big bed, bath with decent overhead shower, bathroom was clean (as was whole room). The room had windows along one wall, which gave a beautiful view over the little harbour with boats and lots of pretty sky.   As ever the location is absolutely brilliant. Pleasant staff providing a good service. As regular visitors we appreciated the efforts made to deal with the weekend breakfast issue when the hotel is full with wedding guests - by advising of the best time and warning that there might be delays. so on the Sunday morning we took a stroll into Sudbury... cosa dice la gente » & had a very nice breakfast in a coffee bar. - A pleasant day for our stay so enjoyed a good cream tea on the balcony followed by Pimms (it was a surprise 70th).
