Cosa dice la gente
Being a lone female traveller I am always careful about where I stay. I picked The White Horse because of the good reviews it had and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely place, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and what a lovely surprise to see Molton Brown products in the bathroom - something you would normally get in a 5 star hotel. It was immaculate and I would definitely book again. A fantastic hotel. Lovely welcoming and accommodating staff; a room that was quiet, comfortable, spacious and with a fabulous shower (not to mention Molton Brown toiletries); a quaint little restaurant (make sure you book for dinner); good location with easy parking off road. Very little to fault!. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Everything. The rooms were converted from a barn and were in a beautiful setting with the hotels beer garden outside. The food and prices were excellent and the owner and staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely be returning. The room was modern and had all facillities the restaurant was good. The full english breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, location wise it was quiet and peaceful. Would recommend this hotel highly. The room was lovely and a good size, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, piping hot and plenty of it! We couldn't fault anything about the place. It is in a lovely little village. THe accomodation was extremely comfortable, the ensuite had a fabulous power-shower and Molton Brown products. Everyone was welcoming and friendly!. Everything! The only down side is I was only there for one night! What lovely people, great service and the best cooked breakfast ever!. The room was excellent, clean, warm and well furnished. The bathroom was of a particularly high standard.Very good choice of reasonably priced home cooked food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Peace and quiet, overall an excellent place to stay with friendly staff and good food.Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Puts some major hotel chains to shame. Friendliness of staff, excellent breakfast, spotless facilities. The room, the food and the friendliness of all the staff. Lovely room, very quiet, good food, lovely staff. Comfortable, clean, efficient and friendly staff, well thought-outprovision of facilities, E.G. sofa, ironing board and iron, qualitybathroom products, well stocked refreshments tray, internet connection.Excellent variety and quality of breakfast and the availability ofequally good evening meals just a few steps from the room.Everything! The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. The room had everything (and more) that I would expect to see in a B and B, Very impressed all round. Excellent location in pleasant village near Bury St Edmunds. Staf were very helpful and the food was of good standard for 'pub grub'.The staff were all extremely helpful. the food was fabulous. the rooms were spotless, a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, comfortable room and a good selection of evening meals. the room was clean and very comfortable. friendly staff. Good sized room with nice added extra's (eg Molton Brown products). Effective heating and great breakfast. The room was large and quiet in a converted barn around the back of the pub. The setting is lovely.Ideal and quiet location, perfect room, friendly staff, high quality of food and real ales. Nice room, friendly staff, excellent food.nice room and very clean. food was excellent. Friendly, Helpful Staff. Really good food and very reasonably priced with a varied menu. Had two pints during stay and it both were perfection. As for breakfast, dont bother booking a lunch date if you have the "full breakfast", had poached eggs on toast two mornings, wonderful, coffee good too!. Excellent Country Inn next to the A14. I didn't dine as I had eaten before but the breakfast was very good. The annex room was well laid out with plenty of space. The bathroom was a good size with a good power shower. I will definitely stay here again. The quality of the soaps, shampoos, furnishings and the restaurant food. The staff, food and standard of accomadation were all excellent. great Home made food in convivial suroundings. Very Friendly and Helpful. Superb food. Very friendly staff. When I asked for a particular yoghurt at breakfast the owner went out to buy it especially. Excellent service. Good food and hospitality. the food. Peace and quiet. Owner welcoming and friendly on arrival and departure but not seen otherwise. Breakfast portions were huge and well cooked. Exceptionally clean room. The food at dinner was fairly average (though I would go again for convenience and for the lovely homestyle atmosphere). I also found it hard to find the hotel - better directions / map on the site would have been useful. There was a family party on the night that we stayed which went on till around midnight and was a little noisy, which was unfortunate. However, it wouldn't stop us going back there again. Nothing negative!. Internet access would be good; otherwise excellent. Nothing negative, but a better matress, sat TV and a better kettle would be all this place needs for a 10/10 score.Would have been nice to have had a couple of choices for the "house wine", when travelling on own not really able to do a full bottle justice, hence wine by the glass is usually the option taken by "single travellers". House wine was nice but as I said, a choice would be appreciated, or perhaps a few half-bottles on list?. We arrived on 30th December and the room was cold. We had to ask for the heating to be put on. Owners did so immediately though. Mattress very hard but that is a personal like/dislike.Rooms are in an annex building and the door did not have an internal lock. Radiator thermostat was stuck on high heat. Evening food standard depended on the dish ordered - mine did not live up to its description.
