  I liked the atmoshpere of that place. Surroundings where very nice and the room was simple excellent. Cheap, yet clean and cosy. Great bathroom. Chocolate to drink and microwave down in the hall. Much better than most places in Helensburgh. Of course the breakfest was also very good, served in a dining room, with a lovely see. - A real find. Wonderful; building sympathetically restored. Staff friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and clearly proud of their surroundings. Our room (no. 2) was lovely, contemporary furnishings complimenting the period features very well indeed. Bathroom a little small, but, given the building's constraints, this was entirely understandable.

  Comfortable room, with plenty of room to move around. Well furnished andnice decor. Well designed in terms of environmental concerns, the littleblue light in the bathroom was a great idea as I like to leave a lighton when staying in a "strange" room in case I need to get up in thenight. The loaction is also 2 minutes from the M74 motorway - excellent choice for an overnight stop.

  Room was clean with comfortable bed, practical shower and washbasin. Toilet in separate cubicle. Staff were friendly and helpful and public areas were clean and practical. I had read some unfavourable reviews after booking, but in my experience the hotel provided excellent value for money. Also, a variety of eating places in the complex offering burgers, Me - I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs. The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave. As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay. Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.   The Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very well decorated and comfortable and the price was excellent. We would definately like to stay there again. - Friendly atmosphere, staff were very attentive, rooms and meal choice were excellent. Rooms were of the right standard for the traveller.
