Both my Husband and myself really enjoyed our stay at The Burnside Guest House. What a lovely welcome we received, and were given every piece of information we needed to enjoy our time there. Even my Gluten intolerance was catered for. Just wish we did not have to dash off early next morning. -

From the moment that we made the booking at the Aspen Lodge we were made to feel worth while customers.Audrey made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.The room was outstanding and lacked nothing.No problem sleeping in the large bed.The en-suite was finished to a very high standard.

The experience from entry to leaving was excellent, one of the best country hotels in the UK, staff friendly, service excellent, a place of peace and calm, even through the 90 mph gales. - The service was friendly but not overbearing, the room luxurious and the food excellent with a lovely view of the ocean and a golfcourse.

Karen And Sean make you very welcome and nothing is too much in helping you enjoy you enjoy stay.Accommodation is excellent and great attention to detail has been made in providing great comfort in the bed, bath linen and room standards. The breakfast offer is amazing with 15 options, all of which are well thought through and mouth watering. A fantastic bed and breakfast and worthy of its 5 star rating and award winning food award.

2nd visit to this hotel in past 2 years. I couldn't fault it. Everything about it was first class. We stayed 4 nights. We ended up eating in restaurant every night.Weather was bad and we didn't want to walk too far.Once you eat there your spoiled, and reluctant to try anywhere else. We did lunch in different places. I liked the location and the staff were very helpful and although we did not require any additional assistance we knew it was available. Also that the Internet log in was given, this was a good touch. -
Above all, we liked the friendly staff who made our visit to Arran a real pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable, the food excellent and the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the island.

Stellar, friendly, helpful hosts (thanks Mark & Jan!), fab room with stain glass window and breath-taking view of the sea and promenade, Mark's Scottish Breakfast utterly delicious, lovely attention to detail including snifter of sherry, great location next door to beautiful ruin (Dunollie Castle) we will come back. Chief highlight of our three week Scottish tour was Oban in general and the Barriemore in particular.

Comfortable cottage with small but nice kitchen. Excellent location close to sea and Brodick. Lots to see and do nearby. My children (8 and 11) liked the space outside including the tennis court. -
