Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

very close to the city centre,close to theatre and concert venues,also reception got us tickets face value for concert,also left phone charger but was sent to us with no fuss excellent service - This overnight stay was a gift for Anniversary for relatives. They were extremely happy with the hotel and the facilities.

The 2 nights spent at Blythswood was enjoyable from the moment we entered the door into the foyer, due to the ambience and the reception received from the staff on duty. The rooms are very comfortable; the breakfast was exceptional - a very thoughtful array of fruits, cereals, etc - even honeycombe (what a treat) and the hot food was well cooked

I've stayed here several times and love it! From classy sours, daisies and cocktails in the bar, to the whisky complemented porridge and divine haddock & poached eggs for breakfast, there's nothing to fault at Blythswood. Staff can't do enough for you and embody the friendliness and humor that make Glasgow Glasgow. The spa is amazing and free evenings and mornings for guests. The location of the hotel was excellent, the surrounding countryside and the views where second to none.The spa facilities where of a high standard we received excellent service. The staff where very helpful and friendly at the hotel and the spa. - I got engaged there so it coudnt have been bad and the expresion on her face when entering the room

We only stayed one night, but Marion and Mike made us feel so very welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door. The Hotel was spotless. Our room was beautiful and the view was spectacular. We even managed to catch a glimpse of the sperm whale in the bay, from our bedroom window. Breakfast was excellent. This is one of the nicest Hotels in Oban (and we have been in a few) we will definitely be back; as we were so sorry we couldn't stay a couple more days. My parents were also visiting
