  The location is superb and the view from our room looking downriver from the village was inspiring. Robert Owen's principles should be compulsory r - We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be!   The Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very well decorated and comfortable and the price was excellent. We would definately like to stay there again. - Friendly atmosphere, staff were very attentive, rooms and meal choice were excellent. Rooms were of the right standard for the traveller.

  Loved the Swimming pool and Spa, amazing facilities with wonderful views and Craignure is best location on the island - right in the middle of the island so short travel both directions to Iona and Tobermory, Bar meals and Restaurant were 4/5 star - great food and staff - We liked everything the staff were very helpful.

  Friendly staff excellent facilities for children, would be worth the hotel advertising a bit more of what they have available a great family hotel. Food fresh and wonderful even the child portions freshly cooked and excellent. - The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good.

Even though we planned ot simply have a relaxing , "do nothing" holiday there was so much to do! Badminotn, table tennins, swimming, haricuts, beauty treatments, eating and drinking!   We enjoyed our stay at Craigard House. The owners Roger & Lori were very accommodating as we arrived rather late the first night but they still served us dinner and then we changed our booking for 2 nights instead of 1. Lori explained that we would have to change rooms for the second which we did and they gave us an equally lovely room with ... cosa dice la gente » a view over Campbelltown Loch. We ate in their dining room both nights and the food was delicious. We enjoyed chatting with Roger about the history - I stayed at this hotel for 1 night with my wife and another couple & found that it ticked all the boxes, Clean, Tidy, and the proprietors both Roger & Lori were helpful & friendly. They have put a lot of hard work in bringing a shell of a property back to life again. The hotel is situated in a lovely spot along side the harbour inlet. I will be using this hotel in the future when in that area on business from now on.
