Very lovely country house set in a quiet remote place next to a loch.The decoration is very refined in a modern Scottish style. The satff wasvery friendly. The dinner was great (all fresh and tasty). - Everything,it was perfect!

I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers. Andrew and his staff were excellent. Nothing was too much bother. The food was also excellent especially breakfast. Their recommendation for eating out was superb on the night they did not do food. The hotel was easy to find and Andy the host made us very welcome, unfortunately Tues & Wed are the chefs nights off but Andy recommended restaurants which were superb. Rooms were clean and shower rooms excellent, The scenery in the whole area is stunning and will definitely be back to Tingle Creek.

Guesthouse looks brand new and all fittings are OK. Owner is very welcoming. Good brekfast. Not diffficult to find if following indications provided by owner. -
This Guest house was perfect in every way. We were lucky to have stayed there. It was the best placed we stayed in 10 days in Scotland
