The staff, the food, the sitting rooms were all of the highest
standard. I drove and walked around by myself for a chance to reset and
relax and Kinloch Lodge was such a luxurious experience. I actually
tried to book elsewhere before but they were full, and I am so glad
that they were now. -

Very welcoming hosts; brand new excellent quality cottage; well equipped and furnished; beautiful location; quiet; relaxing; the hosts even came to fetch us to see the Northern Lights - brilliant. The future plans for indoor swimming pool / gym / bar / spa shall make Redwood even better than it already is. -

We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to
head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the
lovely barman, we ordered drinks and had a spot of lunch, which was a
simple sandwich, just what we wanted! By the time we finished our lunch
the room was ready, we were show to our room, and it was fantastic!

huge king size bed, which was the most comfortable bed ever! The room
was warm and cosy, beautifully decorated and a fabulous view from the

My husband and I traveled here with our 3 month old son and had a
wonderful stay. The island is so beautiful and we very much enjoyed
being in a remote part of it. We were in the main building on the second
floor, so we had a lovely view of the lakes and wifi reach our room
(even though I know they like you to become "unplugged" for a
bit). The fireplace in the sitting room was so nice. We sat by it for
several hours one evening as our son laid on a blanket next to it...he
had never seen a fire

I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,

The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

This hotel looks down over the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye and is only two blocks from city centre shopping and restaurants. The guest house is beautifully renovated. The bed was so comfy. The view from our window towards the bay was amazing. Staff were excellent as was the restaurant. It also has a nice pub within. Dinner prices in

We found the Marmalade hotel perfect for our short trip to Portree. We are a family with children aged 9 and 10 and the family room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!

The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Beautiful setting right on the harbor on the Isle of Skye. Room looked
out onto the harbor, stunning view. The room was furnished nicely and
the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food
was reasonably priced and was very good. All of the staff were extremely
courteous and helpful.

The hotel has a very nice location. Clean room. Nicely designed room with steps and separated sections between living and bedroom. Co-op is within walking distance. Breakfast has several choices and we love the poach smoked Haddock with poached egg. The room is spacious. Wifi is quite fast.
