  I had a really lovely stay at Lawrence Road. Maggie was really helpful and friendly and the accommodation was great. My bed was comfy, my room clean and cosy and the kitchen fully equipped.   We just returned from a four day trip to London. Lyall Apartment Hotel proved to be an excellent choice of accommodation. It is only a 5 minute walk from Hither Green station, so it is really convenient for travelling into London. The apartment was absolutely spotless and had everything one would need for a short stay, including an iron! Location is also almost perfect - out of the crowded and busy city but in 5 minutes you can reach railway station and in 20-30 minutes you can be at London Bridge, Waterloo or Charring Cross. Appartment is fully equipped and supermarkets and take-aways are just nearby working to late hours. And the most important quality - the staff :-) Very nice and helpful.   Maggie was very friendly and welcoming, and the place was spotlessly clean, with a nice atmosphere. There are great facilities if you are planning on staying for a few days - a lovely kitchen, washing machine, even a patio and barbecue. Also I liked the location of this - breakfast was simple but enough. They provided a cooked English breakfast (without sausage!) but toasts, some fruits, yogurt and cereal were self-service so it was quite nice. The room was small but tidy and comfortable. And the shared bathroom was clean and not crowded. I didn't wait to take a shower.
