If you are searching for an excellent B&B for your trip to Bangor, stay at the Shelleven Guest House. The owners, Philip and Mary, are classy four star people. For any questions we had about the area, they knew or found the answers. We were treated very specially, but were given our space in the guest house.

My friend and I spent 4 nights at Shelleven Guest House. We found it to be comfortable and well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast menu. The owners, Mary and Phillip, couldn't have been more accommodating ... they even drove us to the train station when we left. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the walk along the seaside promenade to restaurants for dinner so lovely ... a highlight of our stay in Ireland.

Bedroom facilities. Ensuite very clean. Beds comfy, good airing (been in hotels where couldn't open window so it was lovely to be able to do so).Wifi.

We had a few issues with our room but was up-graded the next day and it was excellent. We were met with a friendly welcome smile from all the staff in all areas.

Staff so friendly and helpful, every member of staff was chatty and helpful- outstandingly good. Location brilliant, free parking great. Room was quiet,clean and comfortable, shower good and strong. Nice breakfast. Bar was lively with good entertainment. Bottled water in room was Nice touch also. -

The inportant things. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Good breakfasts. Excellent evening meal in the bistro area. Ideally placed for us visiting family just north of Seaforde. Good value for money and we will certainly stay again. -
