If you are searching for an excellent B&B for your trip to Bangor, stay at the Shelleven Guest House. The owners, Philip and Mary, are classy four star people. My friend and I spent 4 nights at Shelleven Guest House. We found it to be comfortable and well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast menu. The owners, Mary and Phillip, couldn't have been more accommodating ... they even drove us to the train station when we left. The location is excellent, and we enjoyed the walk along the seaside promenade to restaurants for dinner so lovely ... a highlight of our stay in Ireland.

The hotel is an old coaching inn with a lot of character. We were made to feel very welcome. Situated in the pretty village of Moira, the guest house offers the best of both worlds- quick and easy access to Belfast on one side and Northern Ireland's stunning countryside on the other. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the family room we had was immaculate and luxurious. We will definitely be back here again!
