  Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

  Everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both at the hotel and the Lake District itself. The location was lovely, the staff and food were excellent and our room was better than we imagined. Nice to stay in on wet days when lounge available - The hotel was clean and modern, with fantastic views over lake Windemere. The staff were helpful, informative and friendly.
