  Very welcoming and child friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need and bedrooms were comfortable. Very useful to have parking just outside. - The apartment was very spacious and modern decoration inside. Very clean and tidy inside and very close to the town of Windermere

Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!

  We liked everything! The suites are perfect, with lovely appointments. The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It's very very clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District. The shower was neat because you could program it to the exact temperature and pressure you wanted it. The provided coffee, milk, biscuits, and hot chocolate were _sublime_.   The apartments were newly refurbished and done very nicely. A nice touch was that fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar and things like tea towels and dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid were provided.   Without exception, the staff were delightful. Extremely helpful in terms of the stay but also shared knowledge about local area- walks,shopping etc.Flexible about check in / out times - welcomed early and wasn't 'rushed' out. Great to have a choice of bath and shower.Lovely comfy (and huge) bed provided a good night's rest after a day's walking. A grea - Clean comfortable room. Large car park. All the staff were very friendly and cheerful despite being very busy in both restaurant and bar. Food was excellent with a good choice available. The real ales were also in top condition! Thanks to Jooles and everyone for making my stay so enjoyable. Must return!
