Warm and comfortable with everything we could want. Stayed in Silverdale which was large with a gorgeous bathroom and comfortable bed. Great choice for breakfast. - Friendly atmosphere created by the staff and excellent servicethroughout. Rooms are very spacious and have recently been decorated toa high standard.

The food was just wonderful; the room was beautifully appointed; the location was delightful with lovely views; the service was outstanding. All in all we had a delightful three days half board - we would have been fed up not to have booked in for dinner! The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made the stay for us.

We stayed in Room 7 which I believe is the smallest double room in the hotel but it was very spacious and comfortable for us - with a large separate bathroom and separate dressing area. Very Dog friendly, very welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Tea and cake in the afternoon of our arrival was a nice touch. Central location made it handy for shops, high level of cleanliness and top spec furniture and fittings. Good beer!

The location was very attractive, the accomodation was immaculte, the pub food was really outstanding quality, and the beer in the bar was good. Also the atmosphere in the hotel lounge and bar was very pleasant. All the staff were obliging and helpful. Not many hotels offer this quality of accomodation and facilities. Only thing it would be short on is maybe leasure facility like pool\sauna but guess this would make it a Hotel rather than a pub. Most pleasant and relaxing break.
